This is PLAN International's report on the Psychosocial Intervention for Mount Merapi Recovery Project. The project aimed to reduce the short-term impact of the Mount Merapi disaster on children, youth and adults. The project conducted awareness raising training on disaster risk deduction, undertook early recovery initiatives and addressed child protection and health issues in affected communities. The report sets out project objectives and outputs, successes, difficulties and lessons learned.
