Solomon Islands Health Sector Support Program (HSSP): Quality at Entry (QAE) Report

Summary of publication

The document assesses the quality of the design in line with a range of criteria.

QAE reports are mandatory for all monitored aid activities in accordance with the Performance, Management and Evaluation policy, where:

  • the expected Australian Government funding over the entire life of the activity is $3 million or more or
  • the value is less than $3 million, but significant to country or corporate strategies or key relationships with other development partners including whole of government partners.

The Quality at Entry report is reviewed at a design appraisal peer review meeting, where it provides a focus on key issues relating to quality of the aid activity design. Peer Reviews, together with Independent Appraisals, are key business processes aimed at improving the quality of aid activities at design.
