Consular Travel Advice - Rwanda

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has revised its Travel Advice for Rwanda issued on 14 April 1994 and advises that due to the continuing instability and frequency of violent incidents in Rwanda, Australians should avoid all non-essential travel to Rwanda until further notice.

Australians who nevertheless do travel to Rwanda are urged to register their presence with the Australian High Commission, Riverside Drive, Nairobi, Kenya (telephone 254 2 445034/39).
