Australia’s 21st consecutive monthly trade surplus

Australia has recorded its 21st consecutive monthly trade surplus in September supported by record levels of goods and services exports.

Data released today by the Australian Bureau of Statistics showed a monthly trade surplus of $7.2 billion in September. Goods exports posted a new monthly record high of $34.6 billion and services exports reached a new monthly peak of $8.6 billion.
