The Australian Gulf Art Conference (AGAC) will be hosted by the Islamic Museum of Australia in 2016! This indispensable event held in such a dynamic space will produce a melting-pot of ideas in relation to the arts, museums and cultural institutions operating in the Gulf and Australian regions highlighting the similarities and differences between them. Renowned international artists, researchers, professionals, and influential persons will share their experiences from their relevant fields of expertise proposing philosophies, ideas, and collaborative projects for the future. Long-term, this conference will promote Gulf and Australian bilateral relationships, enlarging professional networks, and invigorating multi-cultural exchange - potentially leading to a follow up conference in the Gulf.
