Meet our 2016 grantees
Project summary
Sector: Arts and Culture
Country location: Australia
Grantee: Adelaide Fringe
Project Description
Adelaide Fringe is an annual open-access arts festival renowned for fresh ideas, risk, imagination and fun. Adelaide Fringe's marketplace program, Honey Pot, facilitates the building of long-term relationships between Fringe artists and arts industry professionals and creates opportunities for works to have a life beyond Fringe, such as touring and commissions.
From 17 February to 19 March 2017, Adelaide Fringe will stage over 1000 events, making Honey Pot a diverse, eclectic and exciting market for programmers from around the world. A crucial part of this delegation will be the involvement of two key South Korean arts programmers - who Adelaide Fringe will host during the festival in order to see a huge range of shows, meet artists, develop relationships and build a stronger cultural understanding between our two countries.
Adelaide Fringe is thrilled to have the support of the Australia Korea Foundation, and is so looking forward to staging the next Honey Pot, which provides the perfect environment for relationship building and networking.
