Australia plays an active and constructive role in UN climate negotiations and action agenda.
Ahead of the November United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26), DFAT will hold a series of stakeholder consultation and discussion sessions for individuals and organisations with an interest in engaging on international climate change issues.
Participants will discuss Australia’s negotiating positions, how Australian organisations can engage in the action agenda, and gain practical information on the UNFCCC COP26. Participants will also hear from a range of climate experts, including Australia’s Ambassador for Environment, about Australia’s climate agenda and how we are taking practical action to reduce emissions and build resilience at home and abroad.
