Amendment to Export Sanctioned Goods Regulations for Russia and Specified Regions of Ukraine

The Minister for Foreign Affairs has amended the Autonomous Sanctions (Export Sanctioned Goods—Russia) Designation 2022 and the Autonomous Sanctions (Export Sanctioned Goods—Specified Regions of Ukraine) Designation 2023, expanding the list of goods that constitute ‘export sanctioned goods’ for Russia and Specified Regions of Ukraine (Donetsk, Luhansk, Crimea, Sevastopol) under the Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011.

The Australian Sanctions Office has published a guidance note to assist the public in understanding the prohibitions on the export of goods and provision of related services to Russia and Specified Regions of Ukraine.
