Seeking public submissions: Australia and Singapore Digital Cooperation Initiative

Australia and Singapore are undergoing a scoping study for a benchmark digital agreement. According to the Export Council of Australia, Australia's digital exports were worth around $6 billion in 2017, equivalent to Australia's 4th largest export sector and this figure is set to grow. To make sure Australian businesses are best placed to thrive in the competitive international environment, Australia is engaging on a scoping study with Singapore, Australia's largest trade and investment partner in South East Asia.

To inform this process DFAT is seeking submissions from interested individuals and groups about deepening cooperation with Singapore on digital trade. Stakeholder submissions will inform our way forward as we scope what is possible in this initiative and will allow us to maintain engagement with you throughout the process.
