The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme contributes to peace and development through volunteerism worldwide. Credit: UNV.

Australia will fund around 15 Australians to complete volunteer assignments through the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme. The assignments will focus on human rights (including gender equality, women's empowerment and disability inclusion) and UN reform. Applications close 18 August 2019.
