The Australian Development Gateway recently launched its new website, designed to be a 'one stop shop' for development information across the Asia Pacific region.
The website presents a range of up-to-date information, development resources, latest reports and findings, for people interested in development issues. The site provides over 4,000 sector resources plus a community networking forum which attractes over 40,000 users per month. The website offers information and resources about a broad range of aspects of international development, from economics to education, and knowledge sharing to disability inclusive development.
Users can connect with each other via the 'ADG community', which allows individuals and organisations to register profiles and participate in monthly question and answer sessions about development issues and topics. The new site also features a 'tenders and jobs' section where visitors can search for development jobs, submit vacancies, or advertise requests for tender.
The 'stories from the field' section allows users to submit case studies and stories about their experiences, and provide links to key resources, making this site relevant to anyone with an interest in development.
The Australian Development Gateway has been supporting the development community to reduce poverty and enhance sustainable development since 2002, with funding from AusAID.
