The Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Hon Julie Bishop MP, has launched the Australian Government's Health Security Initiative for the Indo-Pacific region.
Led by the Ambassador for Regional Health Security and implemented by the new Indo-Pacific Centre for Health Security within the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Initiative will focus on strengthening health systems and invest in research and partnerships.
