The Australian Government is providing up to $3 million in response to flooding and landslides in Burma.

  • 3 DFAT Crisis Response Team members sent to Burma
  • $2 million to Australian NGOs and the United Nations to deliver shelter, health, water and sanitation assistance
  • $50,000 to support maternal and child health through the SPRINT initiative
  • Humanitarian relief supplies for up to 5,000 people Family kits containing hygiene supplies, cooking utensils, school learning materials, torches, radios and blankets have been deployed by the Australian Defence Force
