Foreign Minister Julie Bishop has travelled to Afghanistan to meet with President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani to congratulate him on the successful formation of a national unity government. The Foreign Minister has reaffirmed Australia's continuing support to Afghanistan to build on the gains made since 2001.
