Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd visits AusAID

Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd visited AusAID on 14 September to hold discussions with senior managers and to meet AusAID staff.

Mr Rudd is travelling to Pakistan and then to Washington and New York where one of his roles will be to represent Australia at the United Nations Summit on the Millennium Development Goals.

He will meet with senior figures in the US Administration and represent the Prime Minister at the UN General Assembly.

Mr Rudd will also attend a meeting of the UN Secretary General's High-Level Panel on Global Sustainability, which deals with climate change.
