Australia now ASEAN – FLiCKERFEST 2020 short film competition now open

Calling all film makers across ASEAN.

Are you passionate about film making? Do you live in an ASEAN country and have a film under 35mins that you've completed in the last 2 years?

FLiCKERFEST, in partnership with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Australia now, announces the inaugural FLiCKERFEST 2020 Australia now ASEAN Short Film Competition.

The competition is free to enter for films made by permanent residents and citizens of an ASEAN country. Selected films will screen at the FLiCKERFEST Film Festival at Bondi Pavilion, Bondi Beach in January 2020. Entries close 8 November 2019.

The top three finalists will win a trip to Australia to attend the official screening and awards ceremony in Sydney, with airfares, accommodation, travel expenses and networking opportunities with film industry professionals in Australia, included. This is the first year that FLiCKERFEST has included an ASEAN film category.

FLiCKERFEST will announce the final programme in December 2019 for the Academy® Accredited and BAFTA recognised festival.

Submit your film via FLiCKERFEST's online portal or email with any questions.
