2005-06 Aid Budget: AusAID Post 2007 Accommodation

The Australian Government will provide $7.7 million over three years to the
Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) for a new fitout for
the agency's central office.

AusAID's current office fit out will reach the end of its economic life
in 2007. The new fitout will provide for increased security, facilitate
greater levels of environmental performance and enhance occupational health and
safety for staff. The total cost of the fitout is estimated at
$9.5 million, of which $1.8 million will be funded internally by
AusAID.
