The Cyber Cooperation Program is partnering with the Ministry of Meteorology, Energy, Information, Disaster Management, Environment, Climate Change and Communications (MEIDECC) to strengthen operational and technical capacity of CERT Tonga while raising awareness of cyber security in the local community. We also partnered with Catherine Smith Consulting to develop effective legislation to support Tonga's accession to the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime.

CERT Tonga is the national computer emergency response team of Tonga. The CERT is part of MEIDECC and provides advice and support on cyber threats and vulnerabilities to the owners and operators of Tongan critical infrastructure and other systems of national interest.
