As part of her visit to Thailand on 10 January 2019, former Minister for Foreign Affairs of Australia, Senator the Hon Marise Payne signed a new Australia-Thailand Memorandum of Understanding on Cyber and Digital Cooperation. The MoU will support the two countries to manage cyber threats and harness opportunities for digital trade. Promoting cooperation and internet governance is one of the central pillars of Australia's International Cyber Engagement Strategy.
