The Australian Sanctions Office (ASO) offers outreach services to enhance understanding of Australian sanctions laws among entities and individuals. Our key objectives include: 

• educating on obligations and responsibilities under Australian sanction laws;
• provide guidance on compliance and potential consequences of contraventions;
• offering general advice for complex questions regarding Australian sanctions laws;
• building a compliance community and improving sanctions literacy;
• gathering industry feedback on sanctions measures and compliance challenges; and
• assisting with risk mitigation related to sanctions contraventions.

Subject to available resources, the ASO undertakes targeted outreach to particular sectors or groups, or in response to new and emerging sanctions risks.
