2. In his remarks to Security Council Hodgson should say he has
reported matter fully to Dr. Evatt and should quote extensively
from his messages. He should also add that it is to be hoped
sincerely that Netherlands authorities will immediately and
unconditionally recognise continuing jurisdiction and authority of
United Nations and Security Council. He should emphasise
initiative.
