We wish to accredit our Military Mission to Germany to the Control
Council for Austria, as suggested by the Dominions Office, and
would be glad if you would request the United Kingdom Government
to communicate this wish to the Council.

Please advise Hood of this and also that-
(a) Directive to Head of Military Mission to Germany [2] is being
forwarded for his information and guidance.

(b) Isles [3] is leaving shortly and will report to Australian
Army Staff, London, for instructions as to onward movement. He
will be economic adviser under Hood.
