Summary of publication

This is the design document for the Water and Sanitation Policy Facility (WASPOLA Facility) Program to be implemented over a 4-year period, commencing in the second half of 2008. The goal of the Program is to improve access for Indonesians, particularly the poor, to adequate and sustainable water supply and environmental sanitation services, contributing to increased economic growth. The Facility supports the Government of Indonesia assess emerging needs relating to policy development, policy implementation and sector management, including harmonising the programs of the two largest donors to the sector the World Bank and Australia.
