Summary of publication
Thsi is the first quarterly report of the Vanuatu Australia Police Project to the Project Management Group.
The report notes that, in the first quarter, the Vanuatu Australia Police Project met its work plan targets. It highlights achievements including the Chief Magistrate's endorsement of a victim impact statement process, a major cannabis operation that located and destroyed several crops, and on-going training courses in a wide range of policing topics. It reports good progress to complete a new police post at Aneytium, and notes that project expenditure is within budget. It recommends a work plan to the Project Management Group for endorsement.
