UNICEF Monitoring and Reporting Mechanism on Grave Violations Against Children in Armed Conflicts (2011, 16pp)

Description

This document is a UNICEF funding proposal on addressing grave violations of children's rights in armed conflict, including sexual violence for 2012–2013. The proposal seeks to enhance the overall protective environment for children in situations of armed conflict, through monitoring, reporting and enabling effective coordinated prevention activities and responses.

The proposal covers efforts in countries that are part of the Monitoring and Reporting Mechanism ('MRM') established by UN Security Council Resolution 1612 (2005) and in other country situations of concern where UNICEF is responding to the needs of children affected by armed conflict.
