Summary of publication
This report has been prepared to advise on the human resources for health (HRH) elements of the design of DFAT's new program of health support to the Government of Timor-Leste. The report summarises the health and HRH policy context, sets out the key components of an HRH framework, and provides an assessment derived from a synthesis of available information and evidence specific to Timor-Leste, balanced by international evidence. Drawing on these findings, an approach for assessing HRH policy interventions and options is outlined.
