This report outlines the performance of the Sub-Saharan Africa Program from July 2013 to June 2014. The APPR serves as a management tool to improve the effectiveness of Australia's aid by providing a frank assessment of how the program has performed against its objectives. The report details performance according to four key objectives across the extractives, agriculture, humanitarian and health/WASH sectors, and major changes in the program strategy and implementation in 2013-14. The report also outlines management actions the Africa Program will undertake in 2014-15 to ensure the program remains relevant, effective and efficient.
