'Strengthening Humanitarian Assistance' is the Sphere Project's Annual Report for 2011, and outlines activities undertaken in order to establish standards in humanitarian assistance. The Sphere Project is a voluntary initiative that aims to improve the quality of humanitarian assistance and the accountability of humanitarian actors to their constituents, donors and affected populations.
