Summary of publication

The South Asia Regional program's total ODA expenditure in 2017-18 was $17.44 million.

The South Asia Regional program seeks to promote stability, economic growth and regional cooperation through two inter-related objectives focussed on:

  1. water, agriculture, food and energy, and
  2. infrastructure connectivity and trade facilitation.

Through these two objectives, the program supports technical assistance, analysis, research, advocacy and policy reform. Promoting gender equality is a key focus of the program.
