The responses of the Solomon Islands National Transport Fund (NTF) Board to the recommendations of the joint review of the governance, management and operations of the NTF, conducted in September 2013 by the Solomon Islands Government and its development partners in the transport sector, including Australia.

The Solomon Islands Government and its development partners in the transport sector, including Australia, undertook a joint review of the governance, management and operations of the NTF in September 2013. The purpose of this review was to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of existing governance, management and operational arrangements after an initial two years of operations (from the first contribution to the fund in January 2011); and make recommendations to the Solomon Islands Government on any identified weaknesses or areas for strengthening to ensure the provision of adequate support for future operations.
