This funding proposal sets out the proposed work of the United Nations Joint Office on the Prevention of Genocide and the Promotion of the Responsibility to Protect (the Joint Office) for the years 2011-12. The proposals outlines how the Joint Office will conduct independent early-warning assessments, build system-wide capacity related to Responsibility to Protect and help develop common policy on Responsibility to Protect situations.
