Summary of publication

This report outlines the results and accomplishments of the READY Project for 2009. Key accomplishments include: (i) a total of 22 provincial level and 17 municipal level maps were produced; (ii) about 300 local officers in 6 provinces were trained on the use of risk assessment tools; and (iii) community-based early warning systems for tsunami, floods and landslides were established in four provinces.
