Summary of publication
This document provides the goal, purpose, proposed activities and outcomes of the Labour Mobility Initiative. The initiative was designed to improve the capacity of Pacific island countries participating in Australia's Seasonal Worker Programme (SWP). The initiative proposes to do so through improving the demand for workers from Australian employers and industry, improving the quality of training and supply of workers, maximising the developmental impacts of the SWP and gathering evidence to improve policy and program outcomes.
