Photo - See caption below for description

This is a wide ranging economic analysis of the business success of ethnic
Chinese in Asia and Australia. The report looks at the reasons for this
success; the origin and operation of overseas Chinese business networks,
including those which extend to Australia; the role of Chinese Chambers of
Commerce; the structures of Chinese firms and conglomerates; the role of
overseas Chinese capital in the economic take-off of China; the prospects for
overseas Chinese business in the future; and the potential for Australian
firms doing business in Asia to link up with these networks.
