Summary of publication

This publication reports on the extent to which programme outcomes are being met and makes recommendations on enhancing programme impact and sustainability.

The review undertaken March to April 2008 established that ACT for Peace is on track to achieve most of its targets. Key achievements include the continued development of Peace and Development Communities (PDCs), improved service delivery and governance, enhanced skills and competencies for peace, women empowerment, and improved economic activity. Recommendations that will enhance programme performance are also discussed.
