Papua New Guinea Strongim Gavman Program: Management response to mid-term review

Summary of publication

This response outlines the Australian and Papua New Guinea governments' proposed way forward in addressing the recommendations of the mid-term review of the Strongim Gavman Program. The funding envelope for the SGP program ends in June 2013. A thorough and consultative redesign process will take place before implementation of a future phase of SGP. The Review's conclusions and recommendations will inform a broader policy dialogue and consideration of future programming options.
