Description
The program aims to achieve and maintain: 90 per cent population coverage with insecticide treated nets; expanded testing for malaria to all health facilities; and systematic use of more effective drug therapies. Activities include: infrastructure development (boats, vehicles, communications, health facility renovation and improved drugs' storage); national (375 person-years) and international (36 person-years) workforce recruitment; vocational training for almost 1200 staff in Vanuatu; and academic scholarships for 73 staff.
