Summary of publication

This report assesses the gender performance of both long-term and short-term activities of the Laos–Australia NGO Cooperation Agreement initiative. It finds that often gender disaggregated data is the main gender-related method employed, and encourages non-government organisations to be more innovative and responsive to community realities. It gives a number of recommendations for improved gender practice.
