Description
This document outlines the International Network on Conflict and Fragility's Program of Work and Budget for 2011–12. The Program of Work and Budget (PWB) has two important characteristics:
- It reflects an increased investment in translating INCAF policy into donor practice and behaviour change and thus emphasises dissemination through practical how-to notes, as well as support to implementation and monitoring.
- It has built-in flexibility to accommodate outcomes from key global events in 2011, including the release of the World Development Report on Conflict, Security and Development, the annual meeting of the International Dialogue on Peacebuilding and Statebuilding , and the 4th High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness.
-
Divided into four sections, the PWB includes:
- Section I provides the context
- Section II outlines intermediary outputs under each output area (agreed by the DAC) and clarifies linkages with the International Dialogue on Peacebuilding and Statebuilding
- Section III identifies the cross-cutting issues of the PWB
- Section IV describes the mechanisms necessary to deliver the four outputs, as well as budgetary requirements.
