This publication is the Executive Summary of the Independent Child Protection Policy Review 2011.
This full report details findings focused principally on the appropriateness of current AusAID arrangements for implementation, effectiveness and extent to which AusAID and partners have implemented the Child Protection Policy, and an examination of lessons learnt and good practice approaches to child protection.
The review was conducted by a team from Global Child Protection Services (GCPS) consulting group, which carried out a desk review, online surveys and conducted field visits in Australia and Cambodia, in order to gather information relevant to the review.
