Description

The quality at entry (QAE) report reviews the design of AusAID's contribution to the ADB's HIV Prevention and Infrastructure project.
It rates the proposed initiative as being of adequate to good quality and identifies areas for improvement in the need for a gender strategy and action plan. It also highlights the need to further develop the risk management plan for the initiative.
The importance of clarifying longer term funding arrangements to improve the sustainability of the initiative was noted in the review. Actions identified during the QAE process were incorporated in the design.
