Summary of publication

This paper examines the barriers to women seeking and using birth friendly facilities in the sub-districts of Fatuberliu, Maubara, and Remexio (Timor-Leste). The paper outlines how facilities are used, what barriers exist and views on future use possibilities. It also includes recommendations to inform national policy and practice regarding birthing facilities.
