The International Dialogue on Peacebuilding and Statebuilding is an innovation in the international system where countries experiencing conflict and fragility and development partners can jointly shape and guide international assistance. Without more coherent action on peacebuilding and statebuilding, the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) will not be achieved in fragile and conflict-affected countries.
