Summary of publication

This report outlines the key achievements, lessons and opportunities derived from the first phase of AusAID support to the SwimSafe Danang project over 2010–2011. The report notes that the program reached 4,626 children in 2010 across 12 venues, and 5,839 children in 14 venues in 2011. Interest in survival swimming program has grown significantly since 2010 both in Vietnam and across the region as a result of the program.
