Summary of publication
This is the Concept for a new Program entitled Governance for Development (2013–2016). The objective of the new Program is to support East Timor's public service to enable growth and the deliver services. Its two components are (i) supporting new public policy initiatives and (ii) strengthening the performance of the public service. It consolidates and builds on elements of DFAT's current work in public sector reform, public financial management and justice. The new program will be designed during 2012 according to a process agreed with key agencies within the Government of East Timor.
