This is the Memorandum of Understanding (2010-2013) between Australia and the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance for funding for the Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF).

Description

This is the Memorandum of Understanding between AusAID and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), which commits Australia to provide $60 million over four years (2010-2013) to the UN Central Emergency Response Fund (UNCERF). The UNCERF provides critical funding to rapid on-set emergencies, as well as to underfunded protracted crises, in order to ensure timely and reliable humanitarian assistance is provided to those affected by natural disasters and armed conflicts.
