Summary of publication

Assessing and Using Partner Government Systems (PGS) for Public Financial Management (PFM) and Procurement provides guidance to Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) staff and PFM consultants on assessing the risks and benefits of using of PGS for PFM and procurement at national, sectoral and sub-national levels. The guideline defines key concepts, sets out key steps in assessing PGS for PFM and procurement, supports decision making about whether to use PGS to deliver aid funding and provides operational guidance to DFAT staff.
