Summary of publication
The first annual report under the SwimSafe Danang Drowning Prevention Program outlines the key issues and outcomes for the program in 2010. The report notes the program as on track to bringing survival swimming lessons to 5,000 primary school students across the province. The report also notes that the program has been successful in engaging local partners and communities and developing local capacity to provide quality survival swimming classes and developing children's ability to protect themselves from drowning.
