Ms Emily Pugin

Ms Pugin is a career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and was most recently Director of the Transnational Crime Section. She is a proud Kombumerri (First Nations) woman.

She has served overseas at the Australian Embassy and Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Vienna, Austria, where she managed Australia's relationships with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Kosovo, and Slovakia and worked across security and international law portfolios within the United Nations system.

Ms Pugin holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of International Relations from Bond University, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Australian National University (ANU) and a Master of Public Policy from ANU
