Pacific-Australia Sport for Development program (PS4D)

DFAT intends to approach the market for a managing contractor to implement the next phase of Australia’s sport-for-development program in the Pacific. The Pacific-Australia Sport for Development program (PS4D) is a proposed new 10-year initiative to succeed the Australia Sports Partnerships Program (branded as Team Up). The new program will build on the successes of, and lessons learned from, Team Up and continue to leverage Australia’s world leading sporting expertise and strong relationships with Pacific counterparts to contribute to gender equality, disability inclusion, and health outcomes. It will combat gender-based violence and non-communicable disease by offering an accessible, culturally relevant, and community driven platform to drive social change.

It is anticipated that DFAT will approach the market in the first quarter of 2026. The proposed procurement will be published on AusTender and updates on the status of the procurement can be found on the Development Procurement Pipeline.
